We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mainframe DevOps Specialist to join our client in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role requires a deep understanding of mainframe technologies combined with modern DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for automating workflows, integrating systems, and enhancing the efficiency of our mainframe operations.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) systems for mainframe environments.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to automate processes and implement DevOps best practices.
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance through automation, scripting, and tooling.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test, and production environments.
• Monitor systems performance, recommend improvements, and implement new technologies as necessary.
• Participate in the planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards.
• Document and maintain software configurations, process automation, and system updates.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in mainframe development or operations with a strong understanding of DevOps principles.
• Proficiency in mainframe technologies (e.g., COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2) and DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Ansible).
• Strong scripting skills in languages such as REXX, CLIST, or others relevant to mainframe environments.
• Experience with system monitoring tools and automated testing frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a commitment to high-quality work.
• Fluent in English, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Must be currently located in Saudi Arabia or willing to relocate.
