I am an IBM Certified system Administrator, specialised in Middleware / Integration technologies. I have an overall 8.5 years of experience in the IT industry. I am currently associated with IBM India, Bangalore as a SME (Subject matter expert) in Websphere DataPower Administration. I am experienced in the administration of various other IBM websphere stack of products includes Websphere Messaging Queue's (WMQ), Websphere Message Broker (WMB), Websphere CastIron etc. I have an extensive experience in ITIL methodologies such as Incident, Change, Problem & Release managements. I worked with various ticketing tools such as BMC Remedy, HPSM, Peregrine Service centre, HP6, HP7 etc. I am an IBM Certified System Administrator - certified in WMQ v7.

My Day to day activities includes:

- Incident Management, Change Management & Problem Management.

- Administration and BAU support for WebSphere DataPower Integration Appliance XI50/52, IDG  etc, which includes application domain management, user/group management, Crypto Certificate management and Environment specific file management etc.

- Perform firmware upgrade / migration activities for Datapower appliances.  

- Build and apply base configurations on the new DataPower appliances.

- Perform code deployments and configurations for WebSphere DataPower application build packages.

- Automate the DataPower administrative tasks by using Shell, ANT & Curl scripts.

- Manage Crypto Certificates & objects which includes the certificate installation and renewals, and make sure the secure connectivity between applications by SSL / TLS mechanism.
