The successful candidate should demonstrate experience with the Cloud Data Analytics Platform, Big Data or Analytics tools. Having consulting experience is advantageous.

This role will design and build the components of a business intelligence (BI) data warehouse (DW), perform data analysis, create/assist in creating reporting solutions and to maintain software solutions in support of business objectives. This includes developing database interfaces to on premise and online multi-tier web and client-server applications, maintaining databases, understanding and evaluating business requirements and translating them into solutions. You will be working on projects for clients from across the EU.

Your primary responsibilities:

• Manage and develop data processing.
• Design and maintain database schemas, data warehouse, data analysis and reporting solutions.
• Work with data visualization developers to determine solutions that help drive business value.
• Act as subject matter expert in your domain for broader team.
• Develop databases, objects, functions and structures for data storage, retrieval, and reporting.
• Design and develop Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) solutions to populate the data warehouse.
• Define develops, tests, analyzes, and maintains software applications and back-end interfaces (if applicable) in support of business objectives.
• Build report and analytic prototypes based on initial business requirements.
• Conduct research on emerging software development solutions and standards in support of business needs.

To excel in this role, you will have consulting experience together with knowledge of the Cloud Data Platform, big data, analytics tools, and best practices along with the following:

• Excellent knowledge of SQL and data modelling.
• Good knowledge of Python or other programming language.
• Working experience in Azure or GCP or AWS with focus on Data Factory, Databricks, Functions, Logic Apps, Cosmos DB, HDInsight.
• Confidence, self-motivation & a desire to be challenged.
• Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written.
• English is a must and other languages are plus.
• Ability to travel.
