Summary

Our client is an international IT company which offers a wide array of services that encompass everything from the design of ICT architecture and the provisioning of infrastructure and cloud solutions to the deployment of enterprise management applications, the creation of custom extensive software solutions, and outsourcing services. 

They are looking for a Senior Account Manager, who will join their team working for the European Union. 

Requirements

YOUR NEW ROLE:

  • Drive sales and nurture relationships within the European Union sector, encompassing EU Agencies, Bodies, and Institutions.
  • Scout for new business opportunities within the EU market.
  • Engage in client acquisition activities.
  • Execute upselling and cross-selling strategies for IT products or services to enhance business with current clients.
  • Act as the primary liaison for existing EU clients, overseeing their requirements.
  • Craft strategic account plans for key clients, detailing goals, strategies, and actions to expand the account and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with internal teams to guarantee the successful delivery of products and services to clients.
  • Keep abreast of current market trends and dynamics.
  • Lead negotiations on contracts with clients, aiming for mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Generate regular reports detailing sales activities and the status of the sales pipeline.
  • Travel within the EU region for client meetings and to attend sales events

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in the EU IT market, involving work with the EU public sector.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • A strong track record in selling both software and hardware products and solutions.
  • Proven experience in working with international teams.

The office location is in Brussels, we are looking for candidates living there, or willing to travel to Brussels regularly.
