Our client is looking for a Snowflake Consultant.

The project is a long-term DWH implementation as a part of a digital transformation program. The end client is a pharma corporation from Switzerland.

Requirements

The position will be focused on supporting client projects as well as sales teams in the configuration, customization, and implementation of selected packages and applications design for sales demonstration as well as client-based project implementations using Snowflake.

Your primary responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and maintain the data architecture, data models, and standards for various Data Integration & Data warehouse projects in Snowflake.
  • Writing complex Snow SQL’s, query optimization, and expertise in Snowflake features such as data sharing, events, micro-partitioning, Snowpipe, lake-house, etc.
  • You will be on a project for the whole cycle, from draft to monitoring with the client.
  • Leverage your experience working with data warehousing technologies to deploy solutions to solve client business problems.
  • Aiding project teams with functional design, developing documentation, and creating client deliverables.
  • Collaborate with other developers and team members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related technology discipline.
  • Experience with implementation of Snowflake cloud data warehouse and operational deployment of Snowflake DW solution into production.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities, SnowSQL, SnowPipe, Big Data model techniques.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience working with SQL and common programming languages, like Python.
  • Experience with data security and data access controls and design.
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Goal-oriented with high standards for quality and performance.
